250 miles of dirt and dust for the Baja Travesia 2007. 5 days on the Sea of Cortez with wife, 3 kids and a 126W mobile solar power tracking device. Typical Gibson family vacation....I Wish! Hopefully this will be the first of many such trips as we develop the Ecopioneer renewable energy tour equipment. This tracker is part (approx. 1/4) of the larger Alpha Tent powering system. A big thanks goes out to Kinetix Batteries in support of Ecopioneer power and audio system. Not a typical battery for solar charging, but our tour isn't typical. Thank you Paul and Karen for inviting us. A.R. is the reason I got into event support and promotions about 3 years ago. You put on a hell of a race and gave me a great place to do some "Field Research" and have Q.T. with my family. Note to racers' families - repeat after me Baja 2008 "Family Baja Road Trip". Other than cleaning an RV twice a day life was good in Baja.
